CORK RECORD BOOKS

The books contain the minutes of the meetings of the managing committees for the period 1717 – 1900. Meetings were frequently held on a weekly basis. The Books also contain the Baptism records for the same period. There are in the region of 4,000 entries for baptisms. The books also contain some Marriage Records and the records of the deaths of members. We hope to make the Marriage Records available in the future. A few individual pages have been scanned in high resolution in order to give a flavour of how the books look. If your browser permits, the image can be increased in size beyond the original size to enable scrutiny of the handwriting. Some of the pictures will take a minute or two to load, this will depend on your connection speed. The information on this page will read on a screen reader but with the exception of the Baptism Records, the individual links cannot be read.
